The Real Media Collective organise the Australasian Catalogue Awards annual event that celebrates the creativity, diversity and success of the Australian Catalogue and print industry.

Each year SBM donate their services to help the event reach its potential with bursting graphics and creative marketing materials to draw entrants and spectators.
For the 27th Annual Australian Catalogue Awards, the Real Media Collective wanted artwork that would speak to not only the clients and brands keen to see their work up in lights but also the creators and producers of the work that put their blood, sweat and tears into building quality print.

The client wanted to spot light all the different areas in the process from that first creative brief through to the customer responding and purchasing in store, so that anyone involved would be able to resonate in some way with the creative. Point Creative Agency set out to design a beautiful and fun series of collateral that played with the child like cartoon of the process mingled around the letters spelling out the word ‘Collective’ to not only hero the collective nature of all involved in bringing artwork to life, but also pay homage to the Real Media Collective in a subtle way.
